About the company:
Our client is an international producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial and industrial products and services. The company employs more than 100.000 people in 66 countries

Key responsibilities on the job:

  • *Provide an adequate technical service to corrugated board customers including customer trials with company products, co-operating and co-ordinating those activities with the sales managers.
  • *Technical support of specific projects on new products and equipment (glue kitchens) at corrugated board customers.
  • *Provide the Company with accurate and up-to date information on the local corrugated board market (Application of company's products and competition).
  • *Define local market needs/trends to indentify new products/applications.
  • *Innovate on the field of starch applications for corrugated board industry including pilot and laboratory trials.
  • *Contribute to ideas pool with starch application ideas.
  • *Maintain customer application database. Define and implement customer segmentation tools on the corrugated board market.
  • *Keep up-to-date competence in order to meet the market demand.

The best candidate has:

  • *Technical degree in engineering.
  • *Practical experience at corrugated board plants (min 5 years) in a technical role preferably with involvement in starch applications.
  • *Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills and intercultural skills.
  • *Basic English spoken and written.
  • *PC knowledge (MS office, AutoCad).
  • *Motivation, entrepreneurial interest and leadership skills that can be integrated into the current team.
  • *Ability to understand and quantify commercial opportunities for customer projects.
